Palette Pass Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 21, 2026
Who we are and what this policy covers
Palette Pass is operated by Palette Pass ("Palette Pass," "we," "us"). Palette Pass is a marketplace that will connect creative studios with people who want to take classes, explore hobbies and try new things.
This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website at palette-pass.com (the "Site"), how we use it, and the choices you have. Right now, the Site lets you join a waitlist so we can tell you when Palette Pass launches in your city. We do not take payments on the Site at this time.
The Site is intended for people located in the United States. By using the Site, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the waitlist and plan our launch.
Information you give us. When you join the waitlist through our contact form, we collect:
- Your name and email address.
- The zip code you live in or want to use Palette Pass in.
- Pass/topic of interest in learning more about.
- Anything else you choose to write in the form or send us by email
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site automatically collects some technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the page that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described below.
Payment information. We do not collect payment information at this time. When Palette Pass launches in a city and begins selling passes, payments will be handled by a third-party payment processor. We will update this policy before that happens.
How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Add you to our waitlist and contact you when Palette Pass launches in or near your city
- Send you updates about Palette Pass, such as launch news and early-access offers
- Understand demand by city so we can decide where to launch next and which studios to partner with
- Respond to your questions and messages
- Operate, secure and improve the Site
- Comply with the law and protect our rights
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time by using the link in any email or by contacting us. If you unsubscribe, you may not hear from us when we launch in your city.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers. Companies that help us run the Site and our business, such as our website host and form provider (Wix.com), and our email and analytics tools. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Partner studios. We may share summary information, such as how many people in a city are interested in Palette Pass, with studios we are considering partnering with. This summary information does not identify you. We will not give studios your name or contact details without telling you first.
- Payment processor (after launch). When passes go on sale, the third-party payment processor we choose will collect and process your payment details under its own privacy policy.
- Legal reasons. When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Palette Pass, our users or others.
- Business changes. If Palette Pass is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that deal, subject to this policy.
Cookies and similar technologies
The Site uses cookies, which are small files stored in your browser. Our website platform, Wix, places cookies that the Site needs to work, keep it secure and measure basic traffic. We may also use analytics tools to understand how visitors use the Site.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the Site may not work properly if you do. Where required by law, we honor browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control.
How long we keep your information
We keep your waitlist information until Palette Pass launches in your city and for a reasonable time after, or until you ask us to delete it. We may keep some information longer when the law requires it.
How we protect your information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, and we rely on our service providers' security measures. No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you
- Correct information that is wrong
- Delete your information and remove you from the waitlist
- Stop sending you marketing emails
Depending on the state you live in, such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or another state with a privacy law, you may have additional rights. These can include the right to a copy of your data, the right to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising, and the right to appeal our decision on your request. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.
To make a request, email us at Hello@palettepass.co. We may need to verify your identity before we respond. You may also use an authorized agent to make a request for you.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Users in the United States only
The Site is operated from the United States and intended for US residents. Your information is stored and processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, including before we begin taking payments. We will post the updated policy on this page and change the effective date at the top. If we make significant changes, we will let you know by email or a notice on the Site.
